The Victron Energy BMV-710H Smart are high precision battery monitors that have been specially designed for systems with a high battery voltage ranging from 60 to 385 Volts.
These battery monitors calculate the state of charge of a battery and keep track of the ampere hours consumed from the battery by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery.
They both come with a round head unit, a square bezel overlay, a screw ring for mounting, a 10m UTP RJ12 cable, a fused power supply cable and a 500A/50mV shunt. Because of the high voltage application, the shunt is housed in a special enclosure.The Victron Energy BMV-710H Smart has Bluetooth built-in and can connect wirelessly to your phone (or tablet) via the VictronConnect App to conveniently read out all monitored battery parameters, like state of charge, time to go, historical information and much more.

The Victron Energy GX Smart Shunt 1000A/50mV IP22 is an all in one battery monitor, only without a display. Your phone acts as the display.
The Smart Shunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect App on your phone (or tablet) and you can conveniently read out all monitored battery parameters, like state of charge, time to go, historical information and much more. Alternatively the Smart Shunt can be connected and be read by a GX device, connected via a VE.Direct cable.
The Smart Shunt is a good alternative for a BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is needed but less wiring and clutter is wanted.
The Smart Shunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and a connection that can be used for: monitoring a second battery, midpoint monitoring or a temperature sensor.

Victron BMV-712 Black Smart Battery Monitor, you can rely on precise tracking of your battery’s remaining capacity. Simple Installation Process
Installing the Victron Energy BMV-712 is as simple as it gets. All electrical connections link to the quick connect PCB on the current shunt, which connects to the monitor with a standard RJ12 telephone cable. The package includes a 10m RJ 12 cable and a 2m battery cable with fuse. No additional components needed! The package also comes with a separate front bezel for a square or round display, a rear mounting securing ring, and screws for front mounting.
